Case study
TruckFuel truck fuelling service — case study
TruckFuel is our own product. The driver app is live on the App Store and Google Play.
Goal
The goal
Truck drivers fill up at different fuel networks, and each network has its own fuel card and its own app. Fleet owners can't see the full picture: spending, limits and accounting documents are spread across networks. We wanted one app for drivers and one dashboard for the fleet.
Work
What we built
- Driver app. Stations with fuel prices, on a map and in a list. Fuelling history in the same app.
- Fuel card on the phone. The driver shows the card on screen at the till. No plastic card needed.
- Fleet dashboard. The owner adds drivers and vehicles and sets limits. Reports and accounting documents are there too.
- Operator admin panel for the TruckFuel team.
- Three languages. The website and the app work in Russian, English and Chinese, because some drivers on Russian roads come from abroad.
- One module per fuel network. A new network connects through its own module, and the rest of the system stays as it is.
Stack: Flutter (iOS and Android), NestJS, Prisma and PostgreSQL on the server, Next.js, React and Tailwind for the dashboards and website.
Status
Where it stands
The driver app is on the App Store and Google Play. It has a demo mode you can open without signing up or entering a phone number.
Similar project?
One app instead of one per supplier
If your drivers, staff or customers need a separate app for every supplier, we can bring them into one. Tell us which services and data need to connect. We reply within one business day and explain what the price is made of.
Questions
FAQ
Can I see the app without signing up?
Yes. Install it from the App Store or Google Play and choose demo mode on the sign-in screen. The data there is made up.
Why three languages?
Some truck drivers in Russia come from other countries. The interface is in Russian, English and Chinese.
How is a new fuel network added?
Each network has its own module on the server. Adding one doesn't affect the rest.
