Nonoko
Nonograms where a solved grid turns into a colorful postcard. There are no ads in the game at all.
Free to play, no ads. On iPhone there is an optional Premium (one time, no subscription). The first Android release has no purchases, and Premium bonuses are available to everyone.
What's inside
- Nonogram, also called griddler or Japanese crossword: use the numbers beside each row and column to fill cells, and mark empty ones with a cross. Grids range from 5x5 to 20x20.
- Solve a grid and a colorful postcard develops out of the pixels. It goes into your album.
- Six free albums of 12 postcards each: Sea, City, Garden, Winter, Kitchen, Travel. That is 72 postcards, and all the artwork is ours.
- No lives. A mistake is highlighted and counted, and a solve with no mistakes earns a "Flawless" stamp on the postcard. If you prefer the classic way, you can turn the highlighting off in Settings.
- Every grid can be solved by logic, no guessing: we check that each has exactly one solution.
- Postcard of the Day: one for everyone, no hints. You can send it to anyone as a picture with a caption of up to 40 characters. The caption stays on your device.
- Auto-crosses and a mistake checker can be switched on in Settings. Both are free.
Premium
Premium is a one-time purchase with no subscription. It is on iPhone and iPad. The first Android release has no purchases, and the Premium bonuses are available to every player. The six free albums and the Postcard of the Day do not depend on it: it removes limits on hints and adds two albums.
What it includes:
- unlimited hints (a hint reveals a whole row or column);
- two albums that the free version does not have, Night Cities and Holidays, 24 postcards;
- double stamps from the reward calendar;
- two streak freezes a week instead of one;
- extended statistics (time by grid size, mistakes) and a Premium badge in your profile.
On iPhone the Premium price goes down in steps over time since your first launch, the same for everyone. In Russia it is 299 RUB in the first three days, 149 RUB from day four, 89 RUB from day seven. Only the previous step is crossed out on the card. In other countries the App Store sets and shows the price in the local currency. The Premium card without a timer is always available in the shop and in the game settings.
If you buy in those first three days, you get the Founder badge and an embossed postcard frame.
In-game currency and help bundles. They are not in the first release: they will arrive in updates, and we promise no dates. They will be optional purchases; you will be able to earn the currency by playing, and buying it will only save time. There are also no ads in the first release. Future versions may have optional rewarded videos: whether to watch is your choice, and we do not show ads to children.
Difficulty does not depend on purchases. The game builds postcards the same way whether or not you have bought anything, have currency or have an offer open. If you are struggling, it can only make things easier, never harder.
Limited-time offers. Once bundles and in-game currency arrive, the game may show a starter or themed bundle, a paid "Rescue" after a failed attempt, or a bonus on a currency pack. Every such offer shows its end date and time ("Offer until 24.10, 18:40"), which is set once at the first showing and never restarts. We do not use "last chance" or "today only". More in the privacy policy.
Once in-game currency arrives, if you have not bought anything for a long time, the game may offer more of it for the same price. The bonus is labeled "A bonus for you, until <date and time>", never goes above a fixed ceiling, and currency bought with the bonus stays with you for good. Next to the offer there is a "Why am I seeing this" link, and in Settings, on the first level, a "Stop showing offers" option.
If you are under 18 or have not answered the age question, the game has no timers, no growing bonuses and no paid "Rescue". Premium in steps and the regular shop remain.
Questions and answers
Does the game have ads?
Not in the first release. No video ads, no banners, no advertising SDKs and no advertising identifier. Future versions may add optional rewarded videos: whether to watch is your choice. We do not show ads to children. If videos appear, we will update the policy and the description.
What does Premium give, and do I have to buy it?
You do not. Six albums, 72 postcards and the Postcard of the Day are available without a purchase. Premium removes the limit on hints, adds two albums (Night Cities and Holidays), doubles calendar rewards and opens extended statistics. You can also get hints by playing, only slower.
Why am I seeing this offer, and how do I turn offers off?
The game decides which offers to show and when, on your device, using the days since installation, your progress, your purchases and how you reacted to earlier offers. This information stays on the device and is not sent to us. Every offer has a "Why am I seeing this" link with a short explanation. You can turn offers off in Settings: "Stop showing offers" (there is a small link on the offer card too). The Premium card without a timer stays in the shop.
Is the timer on an offer real?
Yes. The end is shown as a date and time, for example "Offer until 24.10, 18:40". It is set once at the first showing and does not restart if you close and reopen the game. After it ends the offer disappears, and the shop price stays at its regular level.
Why do I sometimes get more in-game currency for the same money?
Once in-game currency arrives, if you have not bought anything for a long time, the game may offer a pack with a bonus: "A bonus for you, until <date and time>". The price does not change, the amount of currency does. The bonus grows in steps up to a ceiling and resets after any purchase. So two players paying the same amount can end up with different amounts of currency, and we show this plainly on the offer screen.
Does difficulty depend on purchases?
No. Postcards are built the same way regardless of purchases, wallet or offers. A line like "2 moves short" appears only when that is what actually happened.
What changes for players under 18?
The consent screen has two equal buttons: "14–17" and "18 and over". If you choose "14–17" or do not answer, the game shows no timers, no growing bonuses and no paid "Rescue". Premium in steps and the regular shop remain, with no urgency. Your answer stays on the device.
Is there a player ranking, and what is sent to it?
It appears only if you connected Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android) yourself. Then the game sends them your weekly star total, and Apple or Google show it on their board under your profile in that service, by their rules. We do not receive or store your name, profile or friend list from those services. Without a connection you only have a personal bar: your best week. We do not imitate live players.
What can I buy, and is Android different from iPhone?
The first release has Premium on iPhone and iPad (one time, no subscription): in Russia 299 RUB in the first three days, 149 RUB from day four, 89 RUB from day seven; in other countries the App Store shows the price in your local currency. In-game currency and help bundles will arrive in updates. The first Android release has no purchases, and the Premium bonuses are available to everyone. You can play without buying anything.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Grids, albums and the Postcard of the Day run on your device. You need the internet to make a purchase and to send game statistics to our server.
What data do you collect?
A random installation ID and game events: which grids you solved, how many mistakes, how long it took. If you turned on usage statistics, events about in-game currency, quests, offers and purchases are added (what was shown, what was bought, at what price), along with the age group you chose: "14–17" or "18 and over". We also record the fact of a purchase, but we do not have your card details. There is no account, no name, email, phone number, location or contacts. A postcard caption stays on your device. Nothing is passed on for advertising. Details are in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
In the game: Settings → My data → "Delete my data". The game deletes your events on our server and resets the installation ID. If you are offline, it tries again on the next launch. You can also email hello@demda.pro with the subject "Data deletion — Nonoko" and paste your installation ID; you can copy it on the My data screen. If you delete the game from your device, local progress and albums are gone.
What age is it for?
There is no violence and nothing scary or adult in the game. It is made for adults: it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from users under 14 in Russia or under 13 in other countries. On the consent screen we ask for an age group: "14–17" or "18 and over". If you are under 18 or did not answer, the game has no timers, no growing bonuses and no paid "Rescue".
How do I report a bug?
Email hello@demda.pro with the subject "Nonoko". Tell us your device model, system version, game version (it is on the game's store page) and what happened. A screenshot helps.
I paid more for Premium than it costs now. Do I get the difference back?
No, we do not refund the difference: the price of every step is shown before you buy. People who bought in the first three days get the Founder badge.
Can I buy with a Russian App Store or Google Play account?
In the App Store, Apple currently does not accept payments in Russia, so Premium (and, later, currency and bundles) cannot be bought with such an account. The first Android release has no purchases; once they arrive, it will depend on your country and the payment method on your account: the store processes the purchase, not us. The game itself works fully.
